Don is an experienced actuary and risk management specialist, helping his clients clearly understand their risks, confidently embed risk culture and improve their capital management.
Backed by 30 years in financial services in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom, Don develops pragmatic, innovative solutions to complex commercial problems. He works across the insurance, reinsurance, banking and broker sectors. Don says:

Central to Don’s expertise is overhauling risk management frameworks to instil risk appetite in business decisions. He also has many years of experience in designing, building, implementing and reviewing DFA capital models, and advising on capital management.
Don has held senior roles at global firms Deloitte and KPMG, pioneering new areas of actuarial advice. He advised BP on various methodologies for valuing its oil-spill-related liabilities, and created a new regulatory approach to reclaiming funds from decades’ dormant bank accounts in the UK.
