Hugh Miller Taylor Fry

Hugh joined Taylor Fry in 2006, working on various actuarial and analytics projects. He now focuses on the social sector, using data to improve policy.

He has extensive experience building long-term outcome and cost models across sectors such as employment, welfare, disability and homelessness.

His current role also includes leading our in-house research and development function, TF Labs, to help our clients benefit from the latest commercially focused analytics.

Hugh has won several awards, most recently the Actuaries Institute’s 2021 Actuary of the Year.

He is a regular speaker on data analytics, and the issues facing business, government and society. He sits on the Actuaries Institute Public Policy Committee and co-authored the Australian Actuaries Intergenerational Equity Index.
