Ramona brings more than 20 years of experience in the finance sector, with deep expertise in problem solving and managing risk across insurance, government, superannuation and investments.
Her work centres on understanding and managing climate risk to build resilience for business and communities.
Ramona partners with government and a range of corporate clients to identify, measure and manage climate risk, build resilience and capture opportunities arising from climate change and the net-zero transition. She says:
“Actuaries are used to assessing and managing risks to our community that are uncertain, potentially catastrophic and often long term – a perfect combination for us to make an impact in the climate space.”
Ramona is the Chair of the Actuaries Institute Climate and Sustainability Practice Committee, where she leads a team working on thought leadership, policy engagement and strategic initiatives on climate change.
With a strong focus on bringing teams together across sectors, equipping them with specialist skill in climate and financial risk, Ramona is committed to providing clients with actionable insights to foster resilience, better manage risk and achieve better outcomes.
